Posted 9/24/2008: It's about time we had another seminar, right? Mark your calendars now! November 22-23, 2008. Come and see some great coin magic. More details coming soon. Good friend & Magician, Geoff Latta has Passed Away... Geoff Latta, known as a brilliant innovator and technician in close up magic, equal in ability with both coins and cards, passed away on August 19th, 2008, at the age of 51. He was one of the founding magicians of New York Coin Magic. He gave his time and knowledge to help magicians coming to the New York Coin Magic Seminars, and contributed material for 4 of their DVD's. He appeared as well on the LVMI and the COiNvention DVD. He has been represented in the literature over the years in such publications as Apocalypse, Richard's Almanac, Coinmagic, and Spectacle. He leaves behind a beautiful six year old daughter, and a large void in the art of magic. Please watch this montage, compiled from photos at the Seminars he performed at, and remember a great magician and friend.
